Our team are both experienced and trained to a high level of working with children and young people who have experienced trauma, have SEND, ADS, ADHD, and attachment dysregulation to mention just some of our experiences.
It is our belief that learning starts from within. Happy people learn. Which is why we take a therapeutic approach within our centre.
Children and young people respond better, as we all know, when they are listen to, heard, nurtured and feel a better sense of self.
We recognise that no two students are the same. Therefore a one size fits all approach is unlikely to suit all children and young people.
In all of our learning tools and courses we provide, we offer an Alternative curriculum: rooted in emotional health and Well being of our student. And our staff team.
Building on this we endeavour to enable young people to succeed academically, first and foremost in the basics Maths, English, Science where appropriate. Alongside a varied programme of Life Skills, PSHE, Citizenship. Vocational courses in Child development, Hair and Beauty, Animal Care, Sports, CSCS, vehicle detailing.
Students can follow both GCSE or Functional Skills pathways.
